Job summary

MCC is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support the Melbourne and Griffith sites across the full employee lifecycle.

You will partner with leaders to attract, onboard and retain talent, provide practical advice on employment legislation, and drive performance, development and succession planning. This role emphasizes employee relations, wellbeing and a compliant, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or tertiary qualification in HR, Business or related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience in a HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and contemporary HR practices.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and provide pragmatic advice to leaders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to attract, recruit, onboard, and retain talent across sites.
• Provide trusted, practical advice on employment legislation, HR policies and people matters.
• Drive performance, development and succession planning.
• Manage employee relations and workers compensation matters with confidence and fairness.
• Partner with leaders through workforce planning and organisational change.
