FutureYou is partnering with a fast‑paced manufacturing business to recruit an HR Business Partner for their Minto site. In this hands‑on role, you will partner with senior leadership to own day‑to‑day HR operations, lead recruitment, manage complex ER/IR matters and help build people systems to support growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years HR experience, ideally in a similar business context.
• Strong Industrial Relations and Employee Relations capabilities within a unionised environment.
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing or 24/7 multi‑shift operations is preferred.
• Confident managing high‑volume recruitment and fast‑moving priorities.

HR Business Partner | Minto Location

We're seeking a hands‑on and experienced HR Business Partner to join a fast‑paced manufacturing business employing approximately 400 people in a 24/7, multi‑shift production environment.

This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to partner closely with senior leadership to take ownership of day‑to‑day HR operations, lead high‑volume recruitment, manage complex employee and industrial relations matters, and help build the people systems, processes and culture needed to support future growth.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, thrives in operational environments and wants to leave a visible legacy.

What you'll be doing

• Managing employee and industrial relations across a unionised workforce operating under an EBA.
• Building trusted relationships with leaders and employees across the organisation.
• Coaching and supporting managers through performance, conduct and workplace matters.
• Leading end‑to‑end recruitment and supporting across workforce planning.
• Improving HR processes, policies and systems and supporting with HR operational duties as needed, including preparing employment contracts, letters and HR documentation.
• Partnering with the wider HR team to strengthen leadership capability and workforce development.
• Contributing to long‑term culture, engagement and organisational improvement initiatives.
• Maintaining accurate employee records ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

About you

• 5+ years HR experience, ideally with some experience at HR Business Partner level, or a high‑performing HR Advisor who is ready to step up.
• Strong Industrial Relations and Employee Relations capability within a unionised environment.
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing or another 24/7 multi‑shift operational business (preferred).
• Confident managing high‑volume recruitment and fast‑moving operational priorities.
• Comfortable working on the production floor and building credibility with a diverse workforce.
• Practical, resilient and approachable, with the ability to balance empathy and accountability.
• Experience implementing HR systems or building HR processes from the ground up will be highly regarded.
• Must be able to be present on‑site in Minto during the week.
