Job summary

Bielby Holdings Pty Ltd AB is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support multiple projects across Queensland and New South Wales from our Milton Office. You will provide practical HR guidance on recruitment, onboarding, performance, employee relations and development, tailoring policies to project needs while upholding fair, consistent decisions.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience as a HR Business Partner in a generalist role ideally in construction or heavy industry.
• Good understanding of employment law and the Fair Work Act with ability to interpret awards.
• Strong knowledge of right of entry procedures and their application.
• Ability to develop and deliver HR plans and projects aligned with business objectives.
• Experience with employee lifecycle, learning and development.
• Familiarity with HR systems (Cornerstone HR beneficial).
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee workforce planning with operational leads to understand project and business requirements.
• Support onboarding of new employees into Bielby.
• Address grievances and disputes; conduct workplace investigations.
• Interpret awards and enterprise agreements; provide practical advice on employment conditions.
• Coach managers to set performance expectations and address concerns.
• Contribute to development, review and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate HR information and support HR systems usage.
• Support a positive, inclusive, high-performance culture within Bielby.
