Journey Beyond, Australia's leading experiential tourism group, is seeking an experienced HR generalist for a 12-month maternity leave cover role based in Adelaide or Sydney. You’ll deliver practical, business‑focused HR support to leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle, partnering with the GM and HR team to ensure a positive, compliant employee experience.

Responsibilities include day-to-day HR advisory, recruitment and onboarding collaboration, performance and engagement

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in a Senior HR Advisory or HR Business Partner role.
• Strong HR generalist experience across the full employee lifecycle.
• Experience providing practical advice and case support on employee relations, industrial relations and performance matters.
• Experience supporting leaders in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Sound knowledge of contemporary HR practices, employment legislation and relevant industrial instruments.
• Strong communication, coaching, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and deadlines while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality and follow-through.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day HR advice across recruitment, onboarding, development, performance, engagement and offboarding.
• Partner with leaders to deliver people priorities and practical outcomes.
• Build trusted relationships with leaders, employees and stakeholders.
• Coach leaders in applying HR policies and best practices.
• Provide advice on performance, conduct, grievances and industrial relations matters.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR reporting.
• Handle sensitive information with discretion.
