Job summary

Capability HR in Sydney seeks an experienced HR Business Partner for a 12-month maternity cover. You will partner with executives, lead complex ER, oversee payroll and compliance, and drive strategic initiatives while managing a hands-on operations function.

This senior role requires strong stakeholder confidence, adaptability in a fast-moving environment, and the ability to balance strategic and operational work.

Qualifications

• Senior HRBP with experience advising executives and handling complex ER matters.
• Proven ability to partner with executives and global HR teams.
• Experience in change management within matrix/global environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders; coach, advise and influence
• Manage complex ER, performance issues and sensitive matters
• Oversee HR operations, payroll accuracy and compliance
• Run the annual bonus cycle (calibration + spreadsheet calculations)
• Localise global policies and push back where needed
• Support change initiatives and ad hoc executive requests
• Drive retention and key-person dependency work
