Job summary

Randstad HR Partners is seeking an HR Business Partner for a full-time permanent role based in Port Melbourne. You will own designated portfolios across Victoria and Tasmania, reporting to the HR Manager, and serve as the main contact for leaders and employees.

You will handle day-to-day HR matters, provide practical ER/IR advice, run local reward, recognition, and retention programs, coach managers through people challenges, and oversee recruitment for corporate and unit roles.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor.
• Comfortable with occasional travel across regional Victoria and Tasmania.
• Strong, practical working knowledge of Australian IR frameworks, EAs, and Modern Awards.

Responsibilities

• Go-To HR: Be the primary contact for all portfolio people matters and provide advice on EAs, Modern Awards, disciplinary issues, and workplace investigations.
• Partnering & Coaching: Work directly with managers to coach them through everyday people matters and challenges.
• Program & Engagement: Team up with training specialists to spot skill gaps, while running local reward, recognition, and retention programs.
• Portfolio Recruitment: Manage recruitment for corporate and your business units when roles open up.
