  • Working alongside our Work Health and Safety function to support workers compensation and return-to-work matters, incident reviews, workplace inspections and other safety initiatives.
  • Contributing as an active member of a collaborative, multidisciplinary People and Organisational Development team.
The successful applicant will possess demonstrable competency, knowledge, understanding and/or skills in the following areas:
  • Contemporary human resources practices, particularly employee and industrial relations.
  • Experience supporting performance, conduct, disciplinary, grievance or other employee relations matters.
  • Ability to interpret and apply legislation, Enterprise Agreements, policies and employment conditions.
  • Strong judgement and problem‑solving skills, with the confidence to provide practical and considered HR advice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prepare clear and professional employment documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict‑resolution skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with leaders and employees.
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload, balance competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to work across different areas of the People and Organisational Development function.
  • An understanding of work health and safety obligations. Experience with workers compensation or injury management would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience working within a Human Resources department.
What we offer you:
  • an attractive salary of $106,921.36 – $111,782.32 per annum + superannuation, depending on relevant experience and recognised service;
  • salary packaging of up to $15,900 per annum;
