Job summary

Anglicare Tasmania seeks an Aged Care Community Worker to support older Tasmanians at home across Tasmania. This expression of interest covers part-time permanent roles with flexible hours between 7am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

You will join a growing home care team with strong supervision from managers, nurses and schedulers, delivering quality one-on-one care in the community.

Qualifications

• A caring personality and relate well to people.
• An interest in helping Tasmanians enjoy fulfilling lives in their own homes longer.
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability Work or Aged Care (or equivalent).
• Driver’s Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home support to clients in their own homes or communities.
• Maintain client safety and dignity during home care visits.
• Coordinate with home care managers, nurses and schedulers as needed.
• Adhere to Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People registration and police checks.

Anglicare is seeking qualified and experienced Aged Care Workers to join their Home Care Team across Tasmania.

• Above award pay rates from $37.07- $39.25per hour (permanent rate)

• You will be paid for travel time and a generous amount per km vehicle expense rate

The successful applicant will be required to:

• provide a current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration (employment/volunteer category);
• present an unsupervised contact with children or vulnerable people type National Police Check (no older than 12 months);
• provide an International Police Check if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia after the age of 16;
• provide a satisfactory Anglicare assessed medical:
• provide a current provisional or full Australian Driver Licence.
