Job summary

Sands Fridge Lines, based in Forrestfield, WA, is seeking an HR Advisor to join the HR team. You will partner with leaders and staff, delivering hands-on HR and Industrial Relations support in a fast-paced logistics environment.

This role offers ongoing development within a supportive team and exposure to broad HR functions. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will handle employee relations, policy guidance, onboarding, and HR system tasks while ensuring compliance with Australian employment law

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in a generalist HR role.
• Strong understanding of Australian employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience using HR systems (UKG highly regarded).
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong written communication skills for policy and documentation preparation.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and guidance to leaders on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
• Support employees with general HR enquiries.
• Assist with employee relations matters, including absenteeism, performance management, disciplinary issues, and grievance resolution.
• Support managers with performance reviews and appraisal processes.
• Coordinate HR programs such as training, development, and engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation and relevant regulations.
• Update and maintain HR policies and procedures.
• Prepare employment contracts, performance and disciplinary documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding, new starter paperwork, and system setup.
• Maintain accurate HR records within HR systems (UKG & Kronos).
• Provide support to the Recruitment team as needed.
