Job summary

Wannon Water is seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our People & Wellbeing team in Warrnambool, Hamilton or Portland. This full-time fixed-term role focuses on employee and industrial relations, injury management and return to work, and recruitment.

You’ll provide practical HR advice across the employee lifecycle, support leaders with investigations and governance, and contribute to positive safety culture while delivering broad generalist HR work with the Advisory team.

Qualifications

• Experience providing HR advice across employee matters and policy interpretation.
• Experience managing investigations, injury management or return to work.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with leaders and staff.
• Experience with Enterprise Agreement and workplace policies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and support on employee and industrial relations, policy applications and concerns.
• Manage injury and return to work matters, including workers’ compensation and non-work-related injuries.
• Conduct workplace investigations and assist leaders with sensitive matters.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment in partnership with hiring managers.
• Support leaders to address psychosocial hazards and safety culture.
• Contribute to bargaining, organisational change and policy improvements.
