Job summary

Joss Group in Bathurst, NSW, is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the team and support the Cleaning division. This hands-on role covers the full employee lifecycle, offering practical HR advice and driving improvements to the employee experience.

You will provide timely HR support across the business, interpret awards and policies, and assist managers with complex employee matters. Expect regional travel to support staff and overnight stays as required.

Qualifications

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, with relevant experience, or a relevant HR qualification with significant relevant HR experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment relations, with experience interpreting awards highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
  • The confidence to provide clear, practical advice to managers and employees.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

  • Travelling to regional locations to support employees and managers will be required, including some overnight travel.

Job description

Joss is a proudly privately owned regional business with more than 50 years’ experience delivering construction, asset management and facilities management services across NSW, the ACT and Victoria.

We’re now looking for an experiencedHR Advisorto join our high-performing team, based from our Bathurst office.

This is a hands‑on, generalist HR role where you’ll be a trusted first point of contact for employees and managers, with a particular focus on supporting our Cleaning division. You’ll have the opportunity to work across the full employee lifecycle, provide practical HR advice and contribute to initiatives that improve the employee experience.

About the role

Working closely with managers and employees across the business, you will provide practical, timely and commercially focused HR support.

You will bring:
