Responsibilities

• Provide practical HR support across the full employee lifecycle for ANZ branches and the wider business.
• Assist with end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, references, and pre-employment checks.
• Support employee engagement, wellbeing, recognition, and administration of policies and procedures.
• Coordinate learning & development and maintain training records in Workday.
• Contribute to change management, succession planning, and organisational development initiatives.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Advisor to support our branches and wider business operations across Australia and New Zealand.

This hands-on role offers broad exposure across the full employee lifecycle. You will work closely with leaders and employees to provide practical HR support, build trusted relationships, and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with a broad range of employment matters such as;

• Misconduct
• Performance management
• Disciplinary action
• Workplace compliance
• Redundancies
• Medical incapacity
• Termination processes
• Assist with end to end recruitment, from advertising, interviewing, reference checks, mandatory pre-employment checks and onboarding for new employees.
• Support employee engagement, wellbeing, recognition as well as administer policies and procedures.
• Coordination of L&D and maintain accurate training records within Workday.
• Contribute to change management, succession planning, and organisational development initiatives.

Skills & Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in an HR Advisor or HR Coordinator
• Worked in a Hire Equipment, Construction industry or Industrial Services (SME)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Experience in Workday or similar HRIS systems (highly desirable but not essential)
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach
