Job summary

ATSICHS Brisbane is a not-for-profit health and housing service dedicated to culturally safe care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Brisbane. The Housing Team Leader role sits within the Housing Team and focuses on frontline management, coaching, and staff development to improve client outcomes.

The position is a permanent full-time role with opportunities for growth within a values-driven organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant social services field with at least 4 years of case management experience.
• Diploma in a relevant field with at least 6 years of case management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to apply child safety and social work frameworks.
• Strong writing skills and program evaluation experience.
• Experience in team management, planning, and resource coordination.

Responsibilities

• Track intake waitlist and coordinate referrals with partners.
• Maintain minimum staff caseloads and allocate referrals.
• Intervene in high-risk cases with risk assessment and decision making.
• Ensure staff conduct safety assessments and safety plans during visits.
• Coach staff and develop learning plans with in-field coaching.
• Develop weekly dashboards and track performance metrics.
• Prepare monthly managerial reports in the Mobnet system.
