Job summary

ATSICHS Brisbane delivers health care and community services focused on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The role involves engaging clients, assessing needs, and coordinating case management with a multidisciplinary team in a culturally safe environment.

The starting salary is 88,017 AUD plus super, with the option of salary packaging and entertainment benefits. Flexible rostering and ongoing training are provided, along with an Employee Assistance Program and social events

Qualifications

• Bachelor qualification in Social Work, Human Services or related field.
• Ability to apply culturally responsive interventions with diverse clients.
• Experience in social health or SEWB supports is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide first point of engagement with families and individuals in a welcoming way and assess suitability for Social Health services.
• Offer individual case management sessions to clients.
• Manage clients during crises and help secure sustainable long-term assistance.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to identify referrals and address social-emotional wellbeing needs.
• Work in a multidisciplinary team with Psychologists, Counsellors, GPs, Aboriginal Health Workers and Allied Health staff.
