Job summary

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Community Services or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work with vulnerable clients and complex needs.
• Client-focused approach with rapport-building skills.
• Valid Working with Children Check and Criminal History Check.

Responsibilities

• Undertake client intake, assessment and eligibility screening for homelessness and housing support.
• Develop and review client-centred case plans to support housing stability.
• Provide ongoing case management, advocacy, referrals and practical support.
• Conduct risk assessments and respond to crises per policies.
• Support safety for clients, especially those affected by domestic and family violence.
• Assist clients to access health, mental health, legal, financial and employment services.
• Assist clients to secure safe, affordable housing and coordinate with housing providers.
