Job summary

NSW Department of Communities and Justice – Bankstown NSW is seeking a Client Service Officer for Housing & Homelessness to support vulnerable clients in South West Sydney and Western Sydney Districts. You will be the public face of Homes NSW, helping tenants and applicants access and sustain safe housing.

The role involves property visits, collaboration with support services, and assisting with housing applications.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting vulnerable clients in community settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Visit tenants at home and inspect properties to support tenancies.
• Assist with rent arrears, tenancy obligations and property care.
• Provide housing options advice and assess applications with relevant legislation.
