Job summary

Community Housing Ltd (CHL) is seeking a dedicated frontline worker to support people experiencing homelessness and housing instability. You’ll provide practical, trauma-informed case management, advocacy and tailored support to help clients achieve sustainable housing outcomes and greater independence.

Role involves outreach, home visits and collaboration with CHL and community partners. A Certificate IV or Diploma in Community Services or related field is preferred; empathy, resilience and

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people experiencing homelessness, housing instability or complex needs.
• Strong communication, engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed, strengths-based and person-centred practice.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to sustain their tenancy, build independence and thrive.
• Deliver tailored, person-centred case management and support planning.
• Identify risks early and provide practical support, advocacy and referrals.
• Connect clients with housing, health and community services.
• Maintain quality case records and ensure reporting requirements are met.
• Manage risk and respond to complex client needs and situations.
• Build partnerships across CHL and the broader community sector.
• Champion trauma-informed, strengths-based and culturally safe practice.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and continuous improvement.
