Job summary

The Department of Housing and Works is seeking a tenancy management professional in Western Australia. You will engage with tenants, real estate agents, contractors, and government bodies to ensure a customer-focused service across the Department’s owned and leased properties.

This role sits in the Service Delivery area, which manages about 39,000 tenancies statewide. The ideal candidate will be resilient, organised and ready to meet clients in their homes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Consult and communicate with diverse stakeholders (tenants, real estate agents, contractors, government agencies, local authorities, departmental staff) to deliver a customer-focused tenancy service.
• Support the management of approximately 39,000 tenancies across Western Australia within the Service Delivery area.

The role is responsible for the provision of tenancy management services associated with the Department’s owned and leased properties.

Key responsibilities

• The position ensures ongoing consultation and communication with a diverse group of stakeholders, including Tenants, Real Estate agents, contractors, Government agencies, local authorities and departmental staff, to ensure that a customer focussed service is delivered.
• The position sits within the Service Delivery business area which manages approximately 39,000 tenancies across the State.
