Community Housing Limited (CHL) is seeking a Housing Officer to help customers sustain tenancies and deliver tenancy and property management services. You’ll welcome tenants, manage sign-ups, inspections, rent reviews, and exits, and coordinate maintenance with the Asset Management team.

You’ll support fair allocations, keep accurate tenancy records, and represent CHL in tribunals as needed. A driver’s licence and checks are required, and you’ll work with a values-driven, inclusive approach

Formación

• Two years’ experience in a similar tenancy/property role
• Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act
• Understanding of housing crisis needs including disability or additional support needs
• Commitment to the right to good-quality housing with a respectful, inclusive approach
• Strong organisation, accurate records and comfort using technology, with collaborative communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Police, NDIS, and Working with Children checks

Responsabilidades

• Manage tenancy sign-ups, property condition reports, inspections, lease and rent reviews, and tenancy exits
• Oversee rent collection and arrears recovery with clear customer guidance
• Coordinate maintenance with the Asset Management team for occupied and vacant properties
• Support fair and transparent property allocations and build relationships with customers and stakeholders
• Maintain accurate tenancy and property records and manage reporting and complaints
• Represent CHL at tribunal or court proceedings as required
