Job summary

Evolve Housing is seeking a tenancy manager to oversee a new portfolio within our Social Housing & Communities team. You will build strong tenant and landlord relationships, manage the property portfolio, and guide arrears and inspections with compassion.

Responsibilities

• Forge strong relationships with tenants and landlords.

• Coordinate repairs and maintenance of tenancies.
• Process lease sign ups with empathy.

Due to continued growth and successfully securing new projects under the Housing Australia Future Fund (HAFF), we have an exciting new role available in our Social Housing & Communities team. This role will be overseeing a new portfolio and providing end to end tenancy management.

What will your new day look like?

• You will enrich people's lives through forging strong relationships with tenants and landlords
• Manage &maintaina dynamic property portfolio
• Assist and guide tenants to successfully manage their arrears
• Undertake periodic inspections, including ingoing/outgoing inspections
• Facilitate support and solutions for repairs and maintenance of tenancies
• Process lease sign ups with compassion and empathy
• Resolve tenancy issues through attending NCAT hearings
• Help support our tenants and create thriving communities

Some important things you will need to begin this journey!

• Proven residential and tenancy management experience;
• Certificate IV or higher in Social Housing or a related field (desirable);
• Awareness of the social and community housing sector services and principles;
• Commitment to delivering an excellent customer service experience;
• Strong negotiation and conflict management skills;
• Are a self starter who is organised and able toprioritise;
• Love collaborating and working in a team;
• Possess a current Drivers Licence;
• Willingness to obtain a National Criminal Record Check;
• Willingness to obtain a NDIS check.
