Job summary

The Langham, Gold Coast is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Houseperson to join our Housekeeping team in a full-time position.

As a Houseperson, you will support the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas, restock service areas, and assist with guest deliveries while maintaining high safety and service standards. A friendly, guest-focused approach and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and strong communication.
• Ability to interact with guests and colleagues with a friendly manner.
• Comfort working under pressure and managing tasks.
• Willingness to work evenings, rotating rosters and public holidays.
• Australian work rights; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Receive and organise guest linen and supplies for Housekeeping Attendants.
• Assist with delivery of guest supplies to rooms and provide personalised service.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently, moving room to room and prioritising work.
• Help maintain cleanliness of corridors, pantries and trolleys; keep work areas safe.
• Perform tasks safely to uphold high cleanliness and service standards.

We are now seeking a dynamic and enthusiasticHousepersonto join our Housekeeping team in a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

As Houseperson, you would be responsible for:

• Receiving and organising guest linen and supplies, restocking service areas and Housekeeping pantries for Housekeeping Attendants;
• Supportomh with delivery of guest supplies to guest rooms, delivering personalised service;
• Completing assigned jobs, working systematically from room to room and prioritising tasks using initiative and upon direction;
• Supporting the cleanliness of guest rooms, keeping corridors, pantries and trolleys clean and tidy and ensuring these work areas are free of safety hazards.
• Performing tasks in a safe and efficient manner to ensure a high standard of cleanliness, productivity and service

Qualifications & Skills

To be successful you will have customer service experience, be a good communicator and enjoy interacting with people.

• Ability to work under pressure with strong problem-solving skills;
• Availability to work evenings, a rotating roster, and public holidays;
