Job summary

The Langham Gold Coast is hiring a Houseperson to join our Housekeeping team in a full-time, on-site role. You will assist with linen organization, restocking service areas, and delivering guest supplies with a focus on personalised service.

Ideal candidates will have customer service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work evenings or holidays as part of a rotating roster. Australian work rights are required and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and enjoy interacting with guests.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and organizing guest linen and supplies; restocking service areas and pantries.
• Assist with delivering guest supplies to rooms and provide personalised service.
• Complete assigned jobs methodically room to room and prioritize tasks.
• Support cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors, pantries and trolleys; ensure safety and tidiness.
• Perform tasks safely to maintain high cleanliness, productivity and service.

Houseperson

We are now seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Houseperson to join our Housekeeping team in a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving and organising guest linen and supplies, restocking service areas and Housekeeping pantries for Housekeeping Attendants;
• Supportomh with delivery of guest supplies to guest rooms, delivering personalised service;
• Completing assigned jobs, working systematically from room to room and prioritising tasks using initiative and upon direction;
• Supporting the cleanliness of guest rooms, keeping corridors, pantries and trolleys clean and tidy and ensuring these work areas are free of safety hazards.
• Performing tasks in a safe and efficient manner to ensure a high standard of cleanliness, productivity and service

Qualifications & Skills

To be successful you will have customer service experience, be a good communicator and enjoy interacting with people.

• Ability to work under pressure with strong problem-solving skills;
• Availability to work evenings, a rotating roster, and public holidays;
