Job summary

The Langham, Gold Coast is seeking a vibrant Group Reservations Officer to deliver exceptional service for our guests and clients. You will support the Reservations Manager in managing group reservations and ensuring seamless booking experiences aligned with Langham Brand Standards.

Ideal candidates have a passion for hospitality, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate large group blocks, rooming lists, and contracts. Australian work rights are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in reservations operations for group bookings.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of hotel PMS systems preferred.
• Australian work rights required; sponsorship not offered.
• Ability to coordinate large group blocks and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Assist Reservations Manager in overseeing group reservations operations.

We are seeking a vibrant and experienced Group Reservations Officer to deliver the highest level of service, providing a seamless and memorable experience for our clients and guests.

What You’ll Do

As Group Reservations Officer, you will assist our Reservations Manager in overseeing the operations of the reservations department with a focus on Group Reservations. The Group Reservations Officer is responsible for handling reservations, enquiries and cancellations in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner, and quoting available rates to maximise room revenue according to Langham Brand Standards. You will also be responsible to Coordinate the reservations, room blocks, rooming lists, contracts for large groups and assist Sales team with on-site meetings on ad hoc basis.

• Good working knowledge of hotel property management systems (Shiiji Daylight an advantage);
• Tertiary qualifications in Hotel/Hospitality/Business or similar advantageous;
