Job summary

The Reef House Adults Retreat in Palm Cove, Queensland is seeking a highly skilled fulltime Housekeeping Supervisor to deliver top-tier cleanliness, guest comfort and organisational standards in our colonial beach house.

Responsibilities include overseeing room and public area cleaning to brand standards, coordinating with Front Desk and Maintenance, preparing weekly rosters, coaching the housekeeping team, and reporting on KPI s. Weekend and shift flexibility required.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in a similar capacity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead by example.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled fulltime Housekeeping Supervisor to deliver the highest levels of customer service, cleanliness and organisation to our Housekeeping Department. Our Colonial Style Beach House is currently undergoing a substantial face lift and we are looking for the right person to help elevate presentation and standards to the next level.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Overseeing the cleaning of guest rooms and public areas to ensure guest comfort and cleanliness are maintained to our brand standards.

Ensure that room cleaning productivity is monitored closely and maintained to established levels

To liaise with Front Desk and Maintenance regarding readiness of rooms with particular attention to guest’s special requirements and VIP rooms

Assist to prepare weekly staffing schedules, monitoring staff attendance

Coach and nurture the great team already in place

Correct and proper management of lost property

Working as room attendant and in hotel laundry will be required as part of the role

Improve systems and procedures

Train and develop each day

Understand all Housekeeping KPI's and be able to report on them daily

Impress and WOW our customers so they feel like they are treated like a celebrity
