Yarrawonga Mulwala Holiday Houses Pty Ltd in Yarrawonga is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead and develop a small team, ensuring pristine presentation of rental properties and exceptional guest experiences.

You will schedule rosters, monitor wages, and project manage housekeeping operations with hands-on cleaning during peak times, while liaising with Guest Services to meet guest needs.

Job description

The Housekeeping Manager is primarily responsible for the presentation of all rental properties, focusing on housekeeping, cleaning and guest expectations. You will manage a small team of casual cleaning and maintenance staff to prepare and present rental properties.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a small team of casual cleaning and maintenance staff to prepare and present rental properties
• Prepare cleaning rosters, manage timesheets and wage costs in line with budget expectations
• Provide direction, inspire, lead and assist your team
• Recruit, train and monitor your team's performance
• Assist with hands‑on cleaning of properties when required (peak season)
• Maintain house supplies (linen, Manchester and groceries), house inventory, keys and security
• Conduct pre‑arrival inspections in readiness for guests and renters
• Adopt strategies to ensure guest experiences lead to positive guest feedback and reviews
• Liaise closely with the Guest Services Manager regarding all check‑ins, check‑outs and guest requirements
• Communicate maintenance requirements, troubleshooting and guest feedback

About you

• An enthusiastic and passionate individual with great communication skills and an excellent eye for detail
• A minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in a similar supervisory role or property management role
• Previous housekeeping and hands‑on cleaning experience
• Motivated to ensure high standards of presentation of all properties
• Exceptional organisational, administration and time management skills
• Proven ability to implement systems, policies and procedures
• Physically fit and healthy
• Hold a current, unrestricted driver's licence (essential)
• CPR and First Aid Certificate (desirable)
• Work vehicle and mobile phone provided
