Job summary

Health Plus People is seeking a capable housekeeping supervisor to manage day-to-day duties in a hospitality setting in Capella, Queensland. You will lead a small team, ensure guest rooms meet strict cleanliness standards, and coordinate restocking and maintenance tasks.

The role requires physical fitness, clear communication, and the ability to work independently while promoting a positive, multicultural team environment. Local relocation or residence preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading housekeeping operations in hospitality
• Ability to follow hygiene and WHS protocols
• Strong communication and instruction-following skills
• Willingness to relocate to Capella or live locally

Responsibilities

• Rotates a roster of hotel rooms to maintain high cleanliness.
• Lead and support the housekeeping team.
• Clean and reset guest rooms to high standards.
• Restock towels, toiletries and amenities.
• Maintain tavern and common areas.
• Report maintenance issues and ensure resolution.
• Meet daily room targets efficiently.
• Follow hygiene and WHS protocols.
• Coordinate sheet and stock ordering as required.
