About the opportunity

You'll play a critical role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facilities.

• Your responsibilities include ensuring a safe and sanitary environment, adhering to infection control protocols, and supporting the overall comfort and well-being of residents, and employees.
• Performing a variety of cleaning tasks in residents rooms, common areas, and administrative spaces.
• Manage the housekeeping and laundry services, ensuring that the residents receive efficient and effective services, with all the requirements met in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and regulatory standards.
• Casual vacancies are available now at our Aged Care home in Mentone, with potential for permanent roles.

What you'll bring

You're reliable, resilient and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you are genuinely interested in supporting others and making a difference in your community.

• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles
• Ability to work independently, a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
• A sense of compassion & empathy towards elderly residents
• Experience working in Aged Care or Health environment (desirable but not essential)
• A sense of empathy & compassion for elderly residents & their families.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

• NDIS Clearance
