Job summary

Mercy Health in Mentone is seeking Casual Cleaners to join our team and help create safe, welcoming spaces where patients, residents, and staff feel valued every day.

You will maintain cleanliness and hygiene, follow infection control protocols, and perform a variety of cleaning tasks in residents' rooms, common areas, and administrative spaces. NDIA clearance may be required to support our residents and team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles.
• Ability to work independently, a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• A sense of compassion & empathy towards elderly residents.
• Experience working in Aged Care or Health environment (desirable but not essential).

Responsibilities

• You’ll play a critical role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facilities.
• Your responsibilities include ensuring a safe and sanitary environment, adhering to infection control protocols, and supporting the overall comfort and well-being of residents, and employees. Performing a variety of cleaning tasks in resident’s rooms, common areas, and administrative spaces.
