The Bower Hotel in Toowoomba is seeking a reliable, motivated Housekeeper to join our team. This hands-on role focuses on keeping guest rooms and hotel areas clean, welcoming and well-presented for guests.

As a Housekeeper, you will clean guest rooms to a high standard, change linen, tidy bathrooms, replenish amenities and help maintain public spaces. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently, with weekend and public holiday shifts possible.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparing guest rooms to a high standard.
• Making beds and changing linen and towels.
• Cleaning bathrooms, floors and room amenities.
• Replenishing guest supplies and amenities.
• Cleaning and maintaining common and public areas of the hotel.
• Ensuring rooms are presented consistently and ready for guest arrival.
• Reporting maintenance issues, damage or lost property to management.
• Following workplace health, safety and cleaning procedures.
• Managing cleaning products, equipment and supplies responsibly.
• Working efficiently to meet daily room turnaround requirements.
• Assisting with other general cleaning duties around the venue when required.

The Bower Hotel is looking for a reliable, motivated and detail-focused Housekeeper to join our team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming and well-presented venue. You’ll play an important part in ensuring our accommodation rooms and hotel areas are maintained to a high standard for our guests.

About the Role

As a Housekeeper at The Bower Hotel, your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and preparing guest rooms to a high standard
• Making beds and changing linen and towels
• Cleaning bathrooms, floors and room amenities

• Cleaning and maintaining common and public areas of the hotel

• Can work efficiently while maintaining high cleaning standards
• Has a positive attitude and works well as part of a team
• Is available across a flexible roster, including weekends and public holidays when required

Previous housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential. Training can be provided for the right person.
