Uniting NSW.ACT in Leichhardt, NSW, seeks a Household Living Coach to strengthen person-centred care across residential households by coaching and developing staff to deliver individualized support aligned with residents' goals and independence.

This role builds Homemaker and care team confidence by promoting Moments that Matter and Food First, mentoring teams to translate principles into everyday practice while upholding quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV Aged Care or Individual Support with First Aid
• Minimum 2 years experience leading/supporting teams in residential aged care
• Desirable Cert IV in Training and Assessment
• Organised, systematic, accurate and disciplined approach
• Sound knowledge of WHS and risk management practices
• Ability to lead by example and foster self-directed teams
• Demonstrated understanding of health, social or aged care services
• Proven ability to work both collaboratively and independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Adaptable and live Uniting values daily

Household Living Coach

Full Time – 5 days per week, between Monday to Friday

Leichhardt, NSW

Position Overview

The Household Living Coach strengthens person-centred care across Uniting’s residential households by coaching, guiding, and developing staff to deliver high-quality, individualised support that aligns with each resident’s goals, wellbeing, and independence. This role builds the skills and confidence of Homemakers and care teams by promoting a deep understanding of Household Living, including Moments that Matter and Food First.

Through education, collaboration, and mentoring, the Coach supports the translation of principles into everyday practices, with a focus on continuous improvement and reflective learning, building confidence and capability to strengthen person-centred ways of working, promote resident choice and independence, and create household routines that feel responsive, inclusive and homelike. The Household Living Coach ensures care delivery aligns with quality and safety standards, supports effective communication across multidisciplinary teams, and models best practices that reflect Uniting’s values.

• Maintain a high standard of conduct and work performance based on Uniting’s values to promote our reputation with key internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure integration and collaboration across Uniting programs to deliver seamless and impactful end-to-end services with the customer at the centre

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum Certificate IV Aged Care or Individual Support + Current First Aid
