Job summary

Uniting is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to assist elderly clients in their own homes in Leichhardt and Mosman. You will help with daily tasks, transport clients to activities, and provide personal care with dignity and respect.

Applicants should have a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or equivalent, with a preference for prior care experience. A driving license and reliable vehicle are required, and there are flexible hours and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in aged or community care is preferred, or a strong desire to begin a career in aged care.

Responsibilities

• Help at home: assist with housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• Transport for wellbeing: escort clients to appointments, shopping trips, and social activities.
• Personal care: support with personal hygiene, showering, dressing, meal assistance, and medication administration.
