Job summary

Lutheran Homes Group is seeking casual and/or permanent part-time staff for shifts from 14:00 to 19:00 or 16:00 to 19:00, Monday to Sunday, at our Hope Valley facility.

You will work across catering/kitchen and cleaning duties in our Residential Care facility, supervised by the Hotel Services Manager to maintain high sanitation and meal service standards. A pre-employment medical and current NDIS clearance are required.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance required or willing to obtain.
• Availability to work morning and afternoon shifts across a 7-day roster.
• Reliable and team-oriented with strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene.

About The Role

In this role, you may be asked to support both our catering/kitchen and cleaning departments within our Residential Care facility. You will be supervised by the Hotel Services Manager ensuring that you maintain an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness and food service delivery. Some of the key duties include assisting in waste removal, stock rotation, dishwashing, maintaining clean work areas, food preparation and serving of resident’s food. We are looking to fill the following shifts: 14:00- 19:00, or 16:00- 1900, Monday to Sunday.

What You Will Need

• Availability to work morning and afternoon shifts across a 7-day roster.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willing to obtain).
• Reliable, team-oriented, and takes pride in their work.
• Positive attitude with strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene.

Candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment and must hold a current NDIS Worker Clearance. In line with current health guidelines for the aged care sector, candidates are strongly encouraged to be up to date with all recommended vaccinations.
