Job summary

Lutheran Homes Group is seeking casual and/or permanent part-time staff to join our Residential Care facility in Hope Valley, SA. You will support catering/kitchen and cleaning duties, under the Hotel Services Manager, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and food service.

Shifts are mainly 14:00–19:00 or 16:00–19:00, Monday to Sunday, on a rotating roster. Ideal candidates will have an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or be willing to obtain), hold a strong work ethic, and maintain excellent

About the Role

In this role, you may be asked to support both our catering/kitchen and cleaning departments within our Residential Care facility. You will be supervised by the Hotel Services Manager ensuring that you maintain an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness and food service delivery. Some of the key duties include assisting in waste removal, stock rotation, dishwashing, maintaining clean work areas, food preparation and serving of resident’s food. We are looking to fill the following shifts: 14:00- 19:00, or 16:00- 1900, Monday to Sunday.

What You Will Need

• Availability to work morning and afternoon shifts across a 7-day roster.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willing to obtain).
• Reliable, team-oriented, and takes pride in their work.
• Positive attitude with strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene.

Candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment and must hold a current NDIS Worker Clearance. In line with current health guidelines for the aged care sector, candidates are strongly encouraged to be up to date with all recommended vaccinations.
