Hotel Nelson in Nelson Bay, NSW, is seeking a friendly Guest Service Agent for a casual, 7-day role. Shifts include 7am-3pm or 1pm-8pm, with duties at the front desk and on-site guest support.

You will greet guests, check-in/out, answer inquiries, offer local information, assist with luggage and keep the reception area tidy, ensuring a warm, high-standard experience.

Hotel Nelson is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our team in our beautiful seaside location in Nelson Bay, NSW. This is a casual role. Must have 7-day availability. Shifts are a mix off 7am-3pm or 1pm to 8pm.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming guests with exceptional customer service

Checking guests in and out efficiently and effectively

Handling guest inquiries and requests in a professional and timely manner

Providing information about the hotel's facilities and local attractions

Assisting with luggage handling and other guest services as required

Maintaining a clean and tidy front desk area

Adhering to all hotel policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a guest-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities

Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards

Familiarity with hotel property management systems (desirable)
