The Landmark Resort in Nelson Bay is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest service in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This hands-on role involves supervising daily operations, room allocations, linen control, and safety compliance, with training provided.

The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, strong time management and communication skills, and the flexibility to work weekends

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or supervisory role preferred.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends/public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the housekeeping team to deliver high-quality accommodation standards.
• Clean and present guest rooms and public areas to a high standard, including bed making and replenishing amenities.
• Assist with supervising daily housekeeping operations, including room allocations, inspections, and team productivity.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, service pantries, and public spaces.
• Assist with linen control, stock management, and housekeeping supplies.
• Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Experience with Resly or other accommodation management systems is an advantage (not essential as training provided).
• Ensure Workplace Health & Safety procedures are followed and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Foster a positive and supportive team environment.
• Provide hands-on operational support as required.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and motivated individual to join our housekeeping team in a Part-Time Housekeeper / Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor role.

This hands-on position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness and guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the housekeeping team to consistently deliver high-quality accommodation standards

• Clean and present guest rooms and public areas to a high standard, including bed making and replenishing amenities

• Assist with supervising daily housekeeping operations, including room allocations, inspections, and team productivity

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, service pantries, and public spaces

• Assist with linen control, stock management, and housekeeping supplies
