Job summary

EVT Connect Hospitality is seeking a Duty Manager for our Sydney operation. You will oversee the front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house activities, drive engagement, ensure guest service meets brand standards, and provide direction to staff to maximise performance and profitability.

In this full‑time role (38 hours/week), you will support hotel operations across areas including revenue management, cost control, duty scheduling, and compliance with IHG standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, guests and external parties.
• High energy level with a drive for superior results.
• Ability to make calm, collected decisions under pressure.
• Lead in a competitive hospitality environment.
• RSA Certificate required.
• Current First Aid Certificate with required accreditations.

Responsibilities

• Maximise revenue using company and IHG systems.
• Ensure cash security procedures and stock control.
• Roster to business needs under the Hospitality Industry Award 2010.
• Direct day-to-day staffing and mentor team members.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and maintain brand standards.
