Job summary

Minor Hotels is seeking proactive Handypersons to support AVANI Cypress Lakes Resort in Australia. The role covers guest rooms, public areas and facilities, performing repairs and painting while maintaining safety and records.

Full-Time and Casual rosters apply, with a flexible seven-day schedule including weekends. Experience in building or property maintenance is preferred, with strong problem-solving and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in building, facilities, or property maintenance (12 months preferred).
• Painting experience is highly regarded.
• Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and maintenance across guest areas and facilities.
• Complete painting, patching, and minor refurbishment as needed.
• Oversee and support external contractors when required.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program and schedules.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and issues.
• Keep records of tasks and service activities.
• Ensure safety standards and company policies are followed.
