Job summary

Kimpton Margot Sydney is seeking a Kitchen Steward to help maintain cleanliness, hygiene and safety of all food and beverage outlets and equipment in a fast-paced hotel environment.

You will assist in food preparation, support stock management, and promote teamwork across departments to deliver high standards of service. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to maintaining hygiene and cleanliness.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a constant supply of clean utensils and equipment for all food outlets.
• Regularly clean and maintain dishwashing machines and kitchen hygiene.
• Follow food safety standards and cleaning procedures including temperature guidelines for dishwashing.
• Assist in food preparation and general kitchen duties as required.
• Promote teamwork and collaboration across departments to deliver quality service.
• Complete required food safety and cleaning documentation on time.
