Accor's Novotel Melbourne South Wharf is seeking a practical Handyperson to maintain guest rooms and public areas, ensuring safety and high standards across the hotel. You will perform general repairs, inspections and respond to maintenance requests with independence and teamwork.

Join a hands-on team on a rotating roster, with a base hourly rate of AUD 27.97 and opportunities to grow within the Accor network, across a global hospitality brand.

Qualificações

• Experience in general building maintenance or facilities maintenance.
• Hospitality or guest-focused environment experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort with HUB OS and WhatsApp usage.

Responsabilidades

• Complete general repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
• Conduct daily plant and equipment inspections and report faults.
• Respond to maintenance requests in guest rooms and public areas.
• Prioritise tasks and address urgent maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of completed and outstanding maintenance work.
• Ensure tools and workshop areas are safe and well-organised.
• Collaborate with operational departments to minimise guest disruption.
• Comply with WHS, environmental and hotel compliance requirements.
