Job summary

Sage Hotel Ringwood is seeking a Senior Manager on shift to lead front desk and hotel operations. You will supervise staff, coordinate across departments, and ensure an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure.

You will train the team, manage overnight shifts, respond to guest concerns with confidence, and uphold service standards that guests remember. This full-time role offers staff discounts and opportunities for growth within the Pro-invest Hotels group.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ supervisory hotel experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• RSA certification current.
• Ability to upsell rooms and services.

Responsibilities

• Assist Front Office Manager in all aspects of running the front desk and supporting the team.
• Warmly welcome guests and ensure a seamless check-in/check-out experience.
• Coordinate and oversee the running of the hotel in the absence of Senior Management.
• Handle and resolve guest concerns effectively with confidence and in a professional manner.
• Ensure the team is consistently trained and developed for growth opportunities.
• Accommodate guest requests, make recommendations, upsell rooms and related services.
• Maintain an updated log on every shift and be the Fire Warden/First Aid Officer.
• Build strong cross-department relationships and provide support as required.
