Job summary

EVT Connect Hospitality is seeking an experienced Hotel Assistant Financial Controller to manage the finance operations for a portfolio of Australian hotels. The role reports to the Financial Controller and collaborates with AP/AR managers and offshore teams to ensure accurate daily postings and timely month-end close.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in hotel finance or hospitality finance.
• Experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Experience with payroll controls and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead accurate month-end close, reconcile intercompany activity, and manage GL postings.
• Produce timely monthly BS, P&L, and KPI commentary for hotel portfolio.
• Oversee payroll, compliance, and accounts payable/receivable processes.
• Collaborate with offshore accounting for daily recording of transactions and reporting.
