Job summary

EVT Connect Hospitality Corporate Office – Sydney NSW invites an experienced Hotel Assistant Financial Controller to lead financial operations across 23 hotels. You will manage month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, payroll, AP/AR, and budgeting, while automating processes and partnering with offshore teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in hotel finance, CPA/CA preferred, and hands-on experience with NetSuite or SunSystems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in hotel finance, including a similar role.
• CPA or CA qualification preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite and/or SunSystems.
• Strong analytical and regulatory compliance capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly close for multiple hotels and ensure accuracy.
• Produce monthly BS, P&L, and KPI reporting for management.
• Oversee payroll, compliance, and statutory returns.
• Manage AP, purchasing, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Collaborate with offshore accounting team and FC.
