Job summary

Flinders Backpackers in Melbourne is seeking a charismatic front desk team member to manage check-ins, guest chats, and create a welcoming atmosphere for backpackers.

You will join a high-energy, sociable hostel environment, working 20–30 hours weekly on a rotating roster that may include overnight shifts. A positive attitude and excellent customer service are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service-based roles is preferred.
• Night owl/overnight availability is a plus.
• Confident, sociable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work 20–30 hours per week and on a rotating roster.
• Have working rights in Australia.

About the Role:

Our front desk crew is the heart of our operations to they’re friendly and will get stuck into everything. From check-ins to chats, to being responsible for maintaining a clean, fun and comfortable environment for all of our backpackers, our reception team are true all-rounders.
