qualia on Hamilton Island seeks a polished Host to join our luxury Front Office team. You will welcome guests, manage arrivals and departures, and support with room allocations and guest requests.

You will collaborate with other departments to maintain qualia's renowned standards, delivering intuitive, personalised service in a guest-centric environment. Strong presentation and discretion are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in Front Office or luxury hospitality.
• Valid driver license held for 3+ years and eligibility for Restricted Driver Authorisation.
• Knowledge of Front Office systems and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Impeccable personal presentation and grooming.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.

Your Role

As a Host at qualia, you'll provide personalised and attentive service throughout the guest journey. You'll coordinate arrivals and departures, assist with room allocations and guest requests, and work closely with other departments to ensure every detail is taken care of to qualia's exacting standards.

To be successful, you’ll need:

• Minimum 12 months' experience in Front Office or luxury hospitality (Essential)
• Current open/unrestricted Driver Licence held for 3+ years (Essential)
• Eligibility to obtain a Restricted Driver Authorisation (Essential)
• Certificate III, IV, Diploma, or Advanced Diploma in Hospitality (Desirable)
• Knowledge of Front Office systems and procedures (Desirable)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
