Job summary

IRT Dalmeny Residential Care Home in Eurobodalla, NSW, is seeking a Hospitality Employee for a permanent part-time role, with shifts across morning and afternoon and a minimum of 30 hours per week.

You will work with catering staff to assist with basic meal preparation, deliver and serve meals to residents, interact with residents to build meaningful relationships, and help with domestic duties while adhering to food safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Empathetic approach and strong customer service skills.
• Experience in health or aged care setting is desirable.
• Food Safety Supervision Certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Hospitality Employee at our IRT Dalmeny (Eurobodalla location) Residential Care Home.

We are looking for a permanent part-time employee, working shifts across morning and afternoon, with minimum of 30 hours per week available for the successful candidate.

Your work may include:

• Working with catering staff to assist with basic meal preparation
• Delivering and serving meals to our residents
• Interacting with residents and creating meaningful customer relationships
• Adhering to strict food safety guidelines
• Helping with various domestic duties such as cleaning of general areas

To Be Successful You Will Have

• A big heart – an empathetic approach and strong customer service skills
• Experience in a similar role in a health or aged care setting (desirable)
• Food Safety Supervision Certification (desirable)
