Job summary

The National Golf Club in Victoria is seeking casual Hospitality Attendants to join our friendly team at Cape Schanck and Long Island. You will deliver exceptional service to Members and guests and help maintain a welcoming club environment.

RSA certification, the ability to work weekends, and a good understanding of safety standards are required. Roles include setting up and packing down restaurant and bar areas while adhering to club policies.

In addition to having access to four world class golf courses, members enjoy state-of-the-art facilities and service. The club operates a restaurant – with the capacity to comfortably seat more than 300 dining guests – a bar, and on-course catering facilities.

The Roles

The National Golf Club is looking to engage casual Hospitality Attendants to join our friendly and dedicated team. Reporting to the Hospitality Manager, Hospitality Assistant Manager, Bar and Restaurant Manager, and Hospitality Supervisors, working along with our highly motivated team, making a positive contribution to the Club.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibility of a Hospitality Attendant is to deliver exceptional service and promote a friendly club environment for our Members and their invited guests throughout the Club.

As a Hospitality attendant, you will also be required to assist with setting up and packing down the restaurant and bar areas following service periods.

You are expected to foster strong relationships with staff, members and their invited guests. Communicate effectively with the management team to promote a positive work environment all whilst ensuring adherence to all company policies and procedures are maintained.

About You

The successful candidate will have the following skills and background:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role preferred, but not essential
• The ability to work under pressure in a busy and dynamic environment
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
• Applicants must be 18 years or older to meet licensing requirements for this position
• You have a sound understanding of workplace health and safety standards
• Flexibility to work weekends, and public holidays as required
• Flexibility to work from either site
