Job summary
The Golden Fleece in Melton is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to lead daily operations, mentor a front-of-house team, and drive customer experiences while upholding gaming and venue standards. This hands-on, fast-paced role reports to the Venue Manager and involves rostering, recruiting, training, stock control, events, and ensuring compliant service across gaming and liquor.

Qualifications
- Hospitality leadership experience in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of venue operations and customer service.
- Hands-on, team-focused leadership style.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
- Clear communication and organisational skills.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations of the venue.
- Assist in driving venue performance and financial targets.
- Lead, coach and support venue team members.
- Manage stock control and ordering processes.
- Support rostering, recruitment, onboarding and training.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and venue presentation.
- Assist with promotions, events and gaming operations.
- Ensure compliance across gaming, liquor, TAB and venue operations.
- Contribute to a positive and engaged team culture.
