Job summary

Bolton Clarke Residential Aged Care Opportunities – Sunshine Coast QLD is seeking a casual/temporary housekeeper to maintain cleanliness across aged care facilities on the Sunshine Coast. The role supports residents and operates with a focus on safety and hygiene.

Applicants should have experience in aged care housekeeping, be able to work independently or within a team, and maintain strong English communication. National police check and standard id requirements apply.

This role a varied role to keep you busy during your shift duties include.

• General cleaning, using industrial cleaning chemicals and equipment.,
• Emptying bins and general removal of non-infectious and infectious items
• Laundering including pressing, ironing and folding garments using industrial machines
• Administration and reporting tasks associated with the role.

To be successful we require you have to have the following skills, experience and personal qualities

• Previous experience in housekeeping within Aged or hospital prefer.
• Ability to work independently as well as having a collaborative approach to all team members
• Be able to work efficiently and have good time management
• A positive outlook to your job and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our residents.
• A willingness to learn new skills and be able to take direction and feedback in a positive way.
• High level of English skills, written and verbal is essential

Mandatory Compliance requirements if successful

• Willing to obtain a national police Check
• ID - Birth Certificate, Drivers Licence, Passport Working rights in Australia
