Job summary

Bolton Clarke in Sydney's South West is seeking a dedicated cleaner to support our aged care residents. You will maintain a high standard of cleanliness across the facility, assist with daily housekeeping and ensure infection control practices are followed to keep residents safe and comfortable.

Previous aged care or hotel services experience is desirable. You should be reliable, flexible with shifts, and able to work well with a caring team committed to positive ageing.

Qualifications

• Previous aged care or hotel services experience desirable.
• Willingness to take direction from others.
• Reliability and shift flexibility.
• Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• Pre employment checks- complete a National Police Check

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times
• Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors
• Dusting, polishing and general tidying
• Cleaning bathroom facilities
• Attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' room
• Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
• Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required
