Job summary

Bolton Clarke is seeking a housekeeping team member for a 94-bed residential aged care home in Caloundra. The role involves cleaning, laundry, waste handling and related administration.

Successful candidates will have prior housekeeping experience in aged care or hospital settings, the ability to work independently and within a team, and strong English skills. Compliance requirements include a police check, ID and references.

About this location:

Centaur located in Caloundra is a 94 Bed Residential Aged Care Home

This role a varied role to keep you busy during your shift duties include.

• General cleaning, using industrial cleaning chemicals and equipment.,
• Emptying bins and general removal of non-infectious and infectious items
• Laundering including pressing, ironing and folding garments using industrial machines
• Administration and reporting tasks associated with the role.

To be successful we require you have to have the following skills, experience and personal qualities

• Previous experience in housekeeping within Aged or hospital prefer.
• Ability to work independently as well as having a collaborative approach to all team members
• Be able to work efficiently and have good time management
• A positive outlook to your job and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our residents.
• A willingness to learn new skills and be able to take direction and feedback in a positive way.
• High level of English skills, written and verbal is essential

Mandatory Compliance requirements if successful

• Willing to obtain a national police Check
• ID - Birth Certificate, Drivers Licence, Passport Working rights in Australia
